Values... and the RESULTS Story :-)
Whether you're a
DBIG customer or team member, you are probably familiar with our
proactive approach to Quality, Integrity, Cost-Benefit, Improvement, and
Satisfaction. These core values comprise the essence of each DBIG
success story. They serve the basis for additional principles.
For example, the drive for Improvement is often best served via the
practice of Innovation. We're committed to driving these
values, not just communicating them.
What's best for our valuable Customers? What's best for our
cherished Staff? When you're good at making people happy in both
these arenas, there is balance... and success. Keeping these
pictures healthy is like taking care of the means... the ends take care
of themselves as DBIG grows and prospers together with everyone else.
DBIG is armed with proven
methods and world class toolkits, with proven track records for delivering
success -- for projects and for people. But wait... there's more
;-) ...
Like most companies, DBIG sequesters feedback as one method of
guiding change and improvement. We leverage feedback to help identify
problems and resolutions -- and to evolve better long term success strategies.
We're constantly asking people for ideas regarding improvement, transitions, you
name it.
We usually don't wait for feedback, though. DBIG frequently
performs reviews and surveys, asking YOU the sensitive questions
so you don't have to feel conscientious about complaining :-). Employees
like hearing questions such as "Are you Overworked?", "Are you Underworked?",
"Did you Learn something New in Training but are not yet Leveraging it yet in
the Job?", "Did you love what you were doing a year ago but now you're kinda
Sick of it?". Customers like to know that their consulting work staff is
stable, effective, and happy, and that the projects we're supporting or managing
are on (or under!) time and budget. So our reviews and surveys are geared
accordingly.
And yes, we have the traditional Open Door principle as well -- but we'll take
it a few steps further to make it easier and more effective for you.
Whether we identify an issue or you raise a flag, if we can't answer the
question or resolve the situation immediately, we'll mark a real tunnel for you.
And we'll put a light at the end of it -- with a real milestone
date. We call it our "Light at the End of the Tunnel" policy. Not an
innovative expression, but a tried and true way to solve problems effectively
and with integrity... so the important stuff doesn't "slip between the cracks".
How many times have you heard... "Yes, we'll make that better in a few weeks or
months..." with no real results to speak of as the real outcome? Not at

Finally, know that you're not alone in the tunnel alone just waiting for the
light. We'll mark checkpoints along the way, so everyone travels and
progresses together -- and so we have time to alter course if charting the
